Over 7,000 people, including Governor Francis ‘Chiz’ Escudero and wife
actress Heart Evangelista, perform the Pantomina sa Tinampo at
Sorsogon’s Kasanggayahan Festival for the historic feat
Sorsogon now holds a Guinness World Record for the largest Philippine folk dance.
A total of 7,127 Sorsogon residents performed the
Pantomina sa Tinampo, the Bicolano courtship dance, from Fatima Church
to Bulwagan and Rompeolas Baywalk in the province, said Ronnie Aguilar
of the provincial administrator’s office.
Swapnil Dangarikar of India, official adjudicator from
Guinness World Records, witnessed the historic performance during the
Kasanggayahan Festival on Thursday, October 31, and handed the award to
Governor Francis “Chiz” Escudero.
The record-setting performance concluded the month-long
festival of the province. The Bicolano courtship dance performed
annually as part of the Kasanggayahan Festival.
Escudero and wife actress Heart Evangelista led thousands
in performing the traditional dance. They were joined by politicians
from other camps and their supporters.
The dance, a regular feature of festivities in Bicol, is said to mimic the movement of doves in courtship.

It’s pretty evident that people use gender conformity to determine which bi people are “actually gay” or “actually straight.” A bi man wearing a crop top and makeup will have his attraction to women dismissed because it’s “obvious” he is gay. A bi woman who is more traditionally feminine will have her attraction to women dismissed because it is “obvious” she is straight.
Gender conforming bi people aren’t straight.
Gender nonconforming bi people aren’t gay. Even when they are really gender nonconforming.
I love watching how effortless it is for Zuko to wield the dual swords - he looks so balanced when he’s using them.
None of that emotional crap he has towards firebending - he’s calm, confident and composed. It’s like a whole another person.
I always felt like dual swords was something that was just his. No one else in his family uses weapons. Zuko pursued mastery in private, was allowed to develop his skills normally, with a patient teacher in piandao and no heavy trauma associated with swords.
Okay so I was supposed to draw something with “Love me like there’s no tomorrow” but i got too sad so I instead drew a happy domestic one with this song which I’ve loved for a long long time. I’m far too weak for angst, maybe I’ll be able to complete that someday.
